Myth: Hair dye causes cancer.

Fact: Several studies have looked at this issue. Today's hair dyes are considered very safe. The most recent study found no increased risk of cancer because of hair dye use. This study was done because a previous study had indicated that there was an increased risk of bladder cancer among hair dye users. The latest study does indicate that more research should be done in relation to hair dyes and leukemias and myeloma, as there appeared to be a slight increase in risk in those areas

Yes, it's true. I also heard that you can't do anything related to hair anywear in your body during your period. I used to shave my armpits before I knew that doing so during ur period, might make them not grow at all. It has something to do with hormones. My mom once told me that it toxifies the body for some reason. It's better safe than sorry.

Naw, that's just a stupid old myth. It was probably made up as an excuse not to have to go to the hairdresser and just sit at home. But nowadays it's different.

No, sounds like superstition. Your hair holds its neutrients regardless of what time of the month it is... however hairdrying is bad for your hair... it removes natural oils from it and fries it. It's best to naturally dry your hair with a towel. Don't ring it, it causes breakage.
