My period was supposed to come 10 days ago and for the past few days I've been having a brownish discharge (doesn't look much like blood). My periods have always been irregular (last month is was 13 days late). I don't think I'm pregnant because my boyfriend and I always use protection. I've also had a cold for a few days....could that be a factor? Can anyone please tell me what's going on or if something is wrong with me?

Has anyone started taking the pill before their period started? My doctor instructed me to follow the instructions on my new Yasmin birth control pills, but other friends have started while in the doctors office "quick start". Has anyone ever tried this? I am supposed to get my period any day now, but am leaving on vacation in 3 days and would rather not have it. If I start the new pack of pills now before my period gets here will it prevent my period until the white pills?

I bleed more heavy on the days of my menstrual.I bleed out big blood cogs.I can't go no where because I feel uncomfortable.I always stain my clothes.Now I have my menstrual twice a month.Can somebody please help me.

Do I have to complete the cycle, is that how I’ll be able to stop taking them with any repercussions? Do they have to give me another med to wean me off of them? Why can’t I just stop taking Birth Control?

The reason I want to stop BTW is I don’t like all this weird stuff happening to my body, and I only started taking it to get rid of my cramps, but I’m not so sure now, I don’t like the fact that I’m still bleeding, and that it might higher my risk of cancer in some ways.

I am a week late, but have taken a pregnancy test and it came back negative. I took it in the morning, like the box said. What else could cause me to miss my period? Before you start with your textbook answers PLEASE READ. My girlfriend is experiencing a painful discomfort on her labia during sex. She describes it as tiny paper cuts, or being rubbed with sandpaper. She has been to the doctor and they have ruled out STDs, bacterial infection, candida (yeast), vaginosis, parasites, and endometriosis. It acts like it is dry, cracked skin, but even with lubrication (both natural or synthetic) we have had to stop mid-coitus because of the pain. She is very health conscious and takes supplements (could she be taking something to cause the irritation?) Any insight would be helpful as the medical field is so far stumped.

When you skip your last week of pills (aka sugar pills) and immediately start the next months pills is it true that you skip your period? I'm going to Florida in almost 3 weeks and thats why I'm wondering. I should have it when i'm there and I want to avoid that at all costs! Please help!

I recently found out that I'm allergic to condoms. I'm engaged to be married, my fiance and I are both completely disease free and we are monogamous to each other. I use Nuvaring. Is it a bad idea to rely only on that method? Do other people? I don't really have any close girlfriends to talk to about this.

I'm 21, married, and both my husband and I have no future plans to have children.

I have severe PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder) and it takes a toll on our marriage. Medications have not helped. I would just like to get rid of periods altogether. What can I do to ELIMINATE PMDD? (not just relieve the symptoms of it)

I also have endometriosis and a prolapsed uterus that causes me a great deal of pelvic pain.

I think a full hysterectomy is out of the question, not because bearing children would no longer be an option, but because of the hormonal shift I would experience.

I do not want a treatment that will permanently affect our sex life.

Please help me find out what treatment options are available.

I know that [naturally] big breasts give bad posture, back aches, sagging, stretchmarks & make it hurt to run etc. But is there more risk in getting breast cancer or perhaps more risk in NOT finding cancer cells soon enough than with smaller breasts? Are there any other health risks?

Im 26yrs old and barely fill an A cup. What can I do other than implants? I remember them being bigger when I was younger. Before I got pregnant I was wearing a B, and for 2wks after giving birth, DOUBLE D! I don't want them huge but @least a full A will be nice. Please help & thank u!

For the last few months I have been feeling really sick. I thought it might be that I am pregnant but i've taken 6 tests that have comeout negative. I am always tired, sleepy, low energy or interest in things, moody/emotional, nauseus (specially in the morning-last week vomited twice). I just can't figure it out. What do i have?
I am trying to eat as healthy as i can. I had gained a little bit of weight and am trying to lose it in a healthy way by not eating anything fatty and increasing the veggie intake. Plus i also started taking vitamins. yet i just feel worse everyday. What is it?

I was wondering this because all the websites I researched said they were rare and uncommon. I've always known there was something "off" down there, but until I found those websites I didn't know what it was. Now I feel incredibly self conscious about my body like I'm some freak mutant.

My boyfriend told me he doesn't mind and that he doesn't see a problem with it. We've had sex and its still there, which makes it even worse because it gets in the way sometimes and its even more embarrassing than it is already,

So do you know how uncommon they are and any ways I can feel less freak like? I think I just need some reassuring advice.

my friend has a fishy smell about her most of the time, she is 58 years old now and she says she's not incontinent as such but has stress in continence at times where she just dribbles a tiny bit would this be enough to cause the problem. And if so what can be done and used to freshen her up a bit, it really is causing a problem, friends are keeping away, i just want to help.

I gave birth to my son in mid January and was recently prescribed birth control pills by my Dr. I havent gotten my after birth period yet (its been 10 weeks since his birth which is normal) so I was wondering can I start my pills with the period week pills first then go to the other ones? Or is there some reason I have to start them the other way? The only reason I ask is my period would be here this week if I never gave birth.

My doctor put me on Loestrin after I had my baby. I was only on it for about 4 months and then I decided to get off it. (First time on birth control pills) I wanted to get off of it just to see if I could loose some weight because the pill was making feel really emotional, and really hungry. So my last period was on Feb 22-24(while taking last last cycle of the pills-inactive pills). And I still have not gotten a period and it is now March 26th. I have taken 2 preg. test and they both came out negative. So i wanted to know if it was because I got off the birth control pills? Also, about 2 weeks ago I had a really sharp pain in my uterus area, I had sex that night and it hurt even more, and the following morning it was still hurting slightly. I wasnt sure if that has anything to do with it as well.

I am a female 22 yrs old who has never had a problem with smelly armpits. What is wrong now? I take showers twice a day, I have tried most deodorants out there and none see to work. I have tried washing my armpits with alcohol and or/ baking soda as I read here and it makes it worse ... I need help. What can I do? This is driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!!! It's embarrassing!

I have severe cramping and I've already taken midol and used the hot pack. But its just not helping very much, only a tiny bit.

Anyone got any tips on how to soothe them?

also, does birth control help your cramps lessen also?
