Before you start with your textbook answers PLEASE READ. My girlfriend is experiencing a painful discomfort on her labia during sex. She describes it as tiny paper cuts, or being rubbed with sandpaper. She has been to the doctor and they have ruled out STDs, bacterial infection, candida (yeast), vaginosis, parasites, and endometriosis. It acts like it is dry, cracked skin, but even with lubrication (both natural or synthetic) we have had to stop mid-coitus because of the pain. She is very health conscious and takes supplements (could she be taking something to cause the irritation?) Any insight would be helpful as the medical field is so far stumped.
