You get used to waxing your legs, but when you start out, it does hurt. Bikini area...well...yeah, that hurts especially if you have sensitive skin. It kind of just feels like getting your eyebrows waxed only about 10 times worse and for a much longer period of time.

Yeah, but I can't compare to childbirth because it wasn't bad at all for me! I still can't imagine it being compared to that anyway!
But if you have ever been scratched by a cat... it can feel like that in the bikini area. The legs it just "burns" a little. But yes it does hurt..even if you do it a lot it hurts... but you do get used to it and know what to expect so it isn't as bad.

I haven't waxed my legs, but I have waxed my bikini area. It HURTS! I didn't think it would be that bad, I knew it would hurt, obviously, but it was worse than I thought. I almost couldn't do the other side. Take your tweezers and pull out one hair down there and see what it feels like. That should give you a good idea of what you're in for. It is very fast, though, and it lasts so much longer than shaving. It would be worth it for a special event.

You cannot really compare it to anything because it has it's own feeling and the pain varies from person to person, some woman have a higher pain tolerance than others...If you want to know if waxing has any comparison to child birth i would say hellllll no, waxing is cake compared to that...But you will never know until you try it

It hurts like all of your hairs are being ripped out of your skin, leaving bleeding follicles behind them. I can't really compare that to childbirth as it's a totally different feeling.

it does hurt... but its not THAT bad....... like pulling off a really sticky bandaid over hair. The more you wax, the less it hurts, the nerves become less sensitive to it and often the hair stopps growing back in some places so there is less to remove. all i can say is try it and see, it's not for everyone but some women swear by it.
