Not being on a diet works for me...sort of anyway! Don't have a drastic change to your diet...Just have everything in moderation! Just make sure to include your 5 a day fruit and veg and cut down on your junk food...don't totally cut it out though because it will give you more reason to give up...because you will tempted to have them and will more than likely give up and have them...that's what i did! I just got a bit more active...joined badminton...its not that big but was something that i enjoyed doing so i got a bit more involved with that and started to loose a bit of weight...i was a 12 about 2 years ago and now in a 10 on bottom and 8 top....and i still eat the same things use to...just not as much!
I hope This helped!
Good Luck x

Hi im 16 as well and i was 196 lbs wanting to be 160 at least. it took 6 months of running and excercising to get to 155 and thats where im at. i never got on a healthy diet i just exercise a lot so when i eat the food doesnt sit it burns up from me needing to eat from engery expense. it takes some time, but you can do it. believe me it feels great. if you think your overweight then maybe just excercise a little bit. just be healthy not too skinny but healthy, i hope i helped!

To my mind taking lot of fluids including plain water, long brisk walks prior to two meals may do wonders than anything else. As far as diet is concerned, you may carry on but avoid fats, colas and junk.
