When you skip your last week of pills (aka sugar pills) and immediately start the next months pills is it true that you skip your period? I'm going to Florida in almost 3 weeks and thats why I'm wondering. I should have it when i'm there and I want to avoid that at all costs! Please help!

you should, but many girls do have spotting when they do this so bring along some pantyliners in case. It is safe to do this on occasion with birth control pills but I would talk to the doctor before doing it for more than 1 month.

It can depend on how heavy or light you are.... and either way you may still spot. So take your period "stuff" with you just in case!Talk to the gyno about it.. tell them what kind of pill and all that and if it is OK to do. I am sure it is OK to do it one time, but a call to the doctor will answer that with education and good health sense.

It doesn't mean that you skip your period,but however it can cause your cycle to flow diffenent then before. It would be off track,but it'll come back after and get on track about the next month.

yep dats rite u can sure do that .. but dunt do it more than 3 months in a row. but if its jst for that one time than ya def no probs.
