I get clear discharge - a lot at a time that it feels really uncomfortable cause of the wetness. Sometimes there will be thick curdy white discharge too. But there is no itch, no swelling or redness and no foul smell.
So whats wrong? Is this normal?
If this info helps.... I have unprotected sex once every two weeks

Sounds like yeast or chlamydia you should get checked Chlamydia is a form of gonorrhea and can cause scar tissue inside your girl parts! Stop with the unprotected sex!

When I was preg. with my second child. I too was in the shower and was washing, and a bunch of that stuff came out too, I didn't have an itch or smell or anything. And all it was, was a yeast infection. I was surprised. I hadn't ever had any other yeast infections. I got treated, and me and the baby were fine. I guess some women can get them with no itching. It could also be part of your mucus plug. It's hard to say. Just ask your doc. I am interested to know now if that happens to alot of women. Having a yeast infection and not even knowing it. Good Luck

Your discharge is normal. Discharge changes depending on the hormone levels in the body. Healthy discharge can range in color, consistency and even odor. If your discharge is accompanies by itching, pain, burning, swelling then you might want to go get it checked out. However, if it is not and only appears at a certain time of the month as you say it does, then its probably just a precursor to your period.
Just to be safe, though or if you still feel uncomfortable consult your physician. Its always important to get anything unusual checked out. Keep a close eye and pay attention in the meantime.

if your discharge is chunky that's not normal, unless it's related to your husbands sperm coming back out, your vagina does treat sperm as a hostile invader and any that doesn't make it into the cervix is attacked and discharged, but white and creamy is normal depending on where you are in the cycle.
BTW, the clear stringy discharge has a very strong instinctual attraction on guys. Sort of like catnip to a cat, catching sight or smell or taste or feel of it is enough to send our brains bouncing off the walls. :-D

This sounds like the discharge some women get a little bit before they have their period. Nothing to worry about but I would most definatley STOP having unprotected sex cause next time it could be something more serious!

if its with your husband you should have nothing to really worry about. go get some monistat and try that first instead of waisting money on a doctor that would tell you the same thing, if that doesnt work, then i would go to the doctor. sounds like yeast infection to me, but what do i know? i am not a doctor just a girl that had the same problems

there could be all kinds of possible reasons for this symptom. I suggest you make an appt to see your family doctor or OBGYN for the answer... good sexual health is often better taken care of at the 1st sign of a symptom, rather than later.

You might have a uti, and infection in the bladder. I would go to a free clinic and get tested for it. or just look up uti and see if you have anymore of the symtoms.
