im 21 and i really havent had a normal period since i was like 10. It seems that as the years go by, my period comes less and less. I counted and in 2006, i only had my period 4 times the MAX.
I also had a cyst years back when i was like 12 years old i believe. I never got surgery for it.
I get really bad cramps and abdominal pain on that side often.
What could this be from? An old dr said its normal, but obviously it isnt.

When you're on your period and after sitting down for a long time and then standing up, you feel the blood come rushing down?

I hate it but I don't want to go through the hassle of changing tampons in school.

when should you take a pregnancy test... how many days before or after your expected period? Im not sure how that works...but in feburary, i got my period on the 24th, and today is the 26th....so when should I take the test so that I can have an accurate answer? we had sex about 4 days ago or so...

What does it mean when you have just gotten off your period and a week later you start to see very light blood not painful or anything light that And you know it cant be your period again. Has this happened to anyone or what does it mean????

My girlfriend is currently taking this weight control pill called Hoodia. However, she is unsure whether or not it interferes or has any effects with her current Birth Control Pills (Alesse). Information on the internet indicates that there should be no effects, however, we are looking for a 2nd opinion. Does anyone know if this Hoodia has any effects on BCPs?

I would like to go on birth control, but my mom keeps telling me its a bad idea because my grandma died of a blood-clot. Are there any forms of birth controls that won't cause blood clots? I understand where my mother is comming from but could she just be overreacting because she doesnt want me on birth control?

I've been really concerend about the state of my liver due to abusing pain killers in the past for chronic pain I used to have and really feel like I need to get a liver function test to be able to put my mind at ease, but like I mentioned in my question, I don't have a general doctor, but I do have an obgyn. Would the obgyn do the test for me if I asked him to?

I'm considering getting circumcised. I wanted to do it as an aniversery surprise for my wife because she is overseas and i will be able to heal b4 i see her again. To paint you a picture. I am 22 (Female) and live very happily with my boyfriend who i have known since we were three, he is 21. He owns and operates several businesses with his father. They own a gym, a nightclub and an imprt and export company amongst others.

My boyfriend (Phil) works extremy hard and is always dashing around, sometimes 24 7. Recently I have noticed a big change in him. He seems to not want to talk to me about much, he seems always exhausted and I can feel us drifting apart. I understand that he is driven by money and success but whenever I try to speak to him and tell him to calm down he gets annoyed and it causes an argument...This is a pic of us taken last year

I can see that he doesnt look well lately and he seems to be only getting worse and taking on more and more work. Yesterday I found some pills in a jacket pocket of his which I have learnt are speed. His father is retireing soon.

I have been spotting pink after I urinate and when I wear a pantyliner it's a pinkish tan color. I have been spotting off and on for almost 2 weeks and I'm slighlty lightheaded occasionally. I have an appt this Friday but need some comfort til then. Anyone ever experienced the same?

My period has been all screwed up this month. I usually have a regular cycle period comes when it should. I never ever get cramps. this month has been really weird. I spotted earlier this month but got no period. Right now Im having the worst pain of my life. I got pain spreading from my ribs on my left side and now it mainly hurts in my lower stomach area. Im in alot of pain. I was keeled over during my lunch and it hurt me to walk all day. I drank a lot of water and felt better but when I got home from school I was exhausted and slept from 3:30 untill my friend called. A hot bath hasnt helped and Im in agony when I move. Im not sexually active either. What could help me?

I have a gyno visit tomorrow. Im 15. I have irregular periods, very very painful, and very very painful. Can a gynocologist prescribe birth control? I heard that that makes them lighter, regular, and less painful.

I am starting to see that I may have an odd period pattern...I go exactly 28 days from one month to the next and then the next month I am almost a week and a half late.I have only started tracking my period for the past 6 months,but its making this pattern.I am engaged and am involved with sexual activity.We use condoms everytime,and I am soon to be getting on birth control...I have used it before,but had severe side effects and am working with my Dr to deside whats right for me.What I want to know is,have any other woman delt with a pattern like this?From tracking sexual activity,I am at a very low risk of pregnancy for this month.I do feel as I will start my period soon.Just curious if other woman have delt with this...Thanks!

I just started to take birth control and I followed the directions and took it the sunday after my period started, if your period starts on a sunday then the directions say start on a sunday and that is what i did, but I have been on my period for 3 going on 4 weeks now should I call the doctor or is my body just trying to adjust?
