I'm on desogen and last night was my last day of the "active" pills in the pack, meaning I'm supposed to start my period today (although it usually doesnt start til like tuesday.) So, should I still take that last pill, or just let it go since it was the last pill in the pack? Will it mess things up?

ummm i know i'm going to have to go to my doctor but what is it and what should i expect??? the discharge is coming from my vagina.... and i shaved for the 1st time(down there) a month and a half ago is this connected....but i also went to my aunts house which has soft water and i have harder water at my house.... please help me i am not a virgin but not sexually active any more...and i have been checked out before this happened...plus i have one genital wart that i've gotten zapped (twice) with acid stuff but it hasn't gone away

I suffer from this problem as well and I HATE IT!!! I was wondering if anyone has figured out a way to prevent or lessen the diarrhea during that time of the month. Do you eat certain foods and avoid other foods? Medications? Herbs? I feel like I can't function for 3 or 4 days a month because of this problem. I appreciate any help that anyone can suggest. (I have an appt with my OB/GYN on January 11)

Ok i asked this question yesterday and got some good replies, see link above for more info. Should have been a little more descriptive though. The reason I asked this is because I am considering putting her on birth control pills to help control her mood swings. She is on medication for bipolar but they seem to do nothing for her pms related mood swings. She is only 12 yrs old which is another reason for asking. If the doc thinks the pill would be a good choice for her and she has to have the exam done, I would be taking her and be in the room with her when it is done, I'm not letting anyone do anything to my girl without someone there with her, understand? I know how uptight our society is and everyones first thoughts are that the mother should be doing this, not dad, but I handle all the doctor appointments and taking care of her when she's sick so it's no big deal to me. Thanks.

Okay, I am really scared! My period is super heavy this time, I mean it usually is, but normally the bleeding will just happen a few times a day and when it does I can feel it and I go to the bathroom.

But this time is different. The blood doesn't stop at all, I'm bleeding the entire time and it's a lot and ALL blood!! Also, I'm even bleeding at night when I sleep!!! That's never happend before and now my pajamas are stained. This doesn't feel normal at all,

If you cant afford health insurance are there any clinics that are free?
I work ft but am a single mom and cant afford health insurance from my work I have asthma and need to go for womanly check ups as required but cant afford it . is there any program out there that i can refer to besides goverment acchhs because i work ft . but i am neglecting my needs.

So lately I have been waking up because of itchiness in my vaginal area(like for a couple months now). It's comes and goes, always in the same spot. I am a virgin, but I did fool around when i was younger but it has been a full year since i have had any sexual contact. I don't think it's an STD, but the fact that it keeps coming back just scares me. Yeast infection? Maybe. But I have had one and it feels different. Please let me know if i should be worried.

My menstrual cycle was due 2 - 3 days ago. However, it has not started yet. The cramps that I am experiencing feel as if they are a mix between menstrual cramps and cramps from having to move my bowels. Everytime I move, when I'm trying to sleep, I get these cramps. These cramps seem to be different than the usual cramps that I get with my menstrual cycle. This has been going on for at least a few days.
