It's perfectly normal. You just need to wear a pad or a tampon all the time now. Welcome to womanhood

Don't panic but you are right to be concerned. Here are some things to consider.

1.Foul or amonia type smell, very strong abnormal odor could indicate an infection.

2.More than 2-3 days of heavy bleeding.

3.White or yellow mucas discharge.

I'm not sure if you are sexually active, but heavy bleeding could also indicate that you've had a miscarriage. Most pregancies terminate themselves in the first cuple of days or weeks and just appear to be a heavy period.

If you are a teen and have just started your cycle within the last year. Your hormones could be still in a balancing out and causing you to have a heavy period.

Please eat lots of protein and iron, and stay hydrated! This will keep you healthy and feeling well.Take a Motrin and try a warm bath or warm towel to your lower tummy to ease the cramps.

G'luck, Be safe, and TELL YOUR PARENTS! or school nurse somebody if you need help!!!!!!

Don't worry, it's normal. When I was younger my periods were so heavy I would bleed through a tampon in an hour. They'll even themselves out. If you start feeling lightheaded you should probably go to the doctor. Bleeding is normal but if you lose too much blood you may need some iron pills to help you out.

Again, don't worry, I know it's scary but it's normal.

Your age would have a lot to do with this. If you are very young, your period may have just changed.

If you are out of your teens and this is happening, I would discuss it with your doctor if it happens next period.

I do not want to scare you, but when this happened to me, I bled for three months solid. I finally had to have surgery. This does not mean that you will, but don't let it go as long as I did.

I always did bleed at night though. Most people do.

You should see your OB/GYN with any abnormality to your normal cycle. If you always bleed heavily, then that is just you. But if it is a lot more than normal there are other risks that must be considered such as ectopic pregnancy (if you are sexually active).

Unfortunately it is Sunday with a holiday to follow so if the bleeding is a severe as you say. Then go to the ER.

Dont worry! Im going to guess that your young? When your young, your periods are haywire. Sometimes they can be heavy, sometimes they can be light. Im the same, I bleed throughout the night and day. But it wasnt like this when I was younger. So, remember, your periods can be irregular. Its normal!

I'd suggest going in to get yourself checked. It may be normal, but if you are bleeding constantly, you should go in and get some medication to get it stopped.

If you bleed too much, you could get anemic. Rarely, some women even need blood transfusion.

That's normal. That's what a period is...bleeding all the time til you're done.

this could be normal... the periods you were having before were very light and now they are getting more regular. however, if you are really concerned about it, talk to your mom or another female adult about it. or go to the doctor.
and i also suggest using tampons so you can't feel it coming out like when you use pads.

Go see the doctor if you are hemorrhaging. It may be ovarian cysts, it may be that you were in the early stages of pregnancy and miscarried, it could be a host of different things.
