Well this one sounds like a yeast infection that may have gotten into your urethra and turned into either a urinary tract infection or a kidney infection.

Of course as you know you'll first have to see your doctor or if he or she is unavailable you might want to check yourself into the emergency room of a hospital. A UTI and yeast infection left untreated can get dangerous. Many times a vaginal infection left untreated can affect your fertility so that's another reason you want to have it checked out ASAP

The reason I believe the yeast may have entered your urethra is because of the burning sensation when you pee. I have expereinced several urinary tract infections in my adulthood and I can definitley suggest a quick remedy but you will still want to get antibiotics from a doctor.

Drink about 4 quarts of water a day until you see your doctor. The more you drink the more you urinate and you probably think "No thanks that hurts!" but the more you urinate and flush away the harmful bacterias with water the less your pee will burn.

You will also want to avoid carbonated sodas or sodas with lots of caffeine. This can irritate your kidneys. Try to stick to water and cranberry juice. Cranberry juice tastes bitter as hell but you'll have to pinch your nose and swallow it down if you want to feel more comfortable.

As for the yeast infection try to prevent it from getting worse. Don't douche as it may make the infection worse because douching tends to kill the helpful organisms and bacterias in your vagina that keep that area clean and healthy. You don't state your age so I'll assume you're old enough to go to the grocery store by yourself because you're not a virgin so you must be old enough to have sex. Go to the grocery store and pick up as much yogurt as you can afford to and eat yogurt like you've lost your mind. Okay maybe not like you've lost your mind but eat lots of it.

Avoid taking bubble baths or milk baths and try not to use bath salts. These types of baths are a perfect enviroment for the yeast to continue to grow in. Milk is a definite no-no.

Still you must see your doctor and good luck.

I am not a doctor but I am a mature woman. I know that a normal discharge from women is usually white with no smell. Yellow discharge with a smell usually mean some type of infection. Make a doctor's appointment to be on the safe side.

It is most likely a yeast infection. You really dont have to see a doctor. The over the counter meds are strong enough to take care of it. They used to be by prescription only but the FDA released them and now you can get them from any drug store. Some of them have an applicator to insert the medicine which makes it easier. Some of them also have anti-itch cream to go with it. You will start seeing results almost immediately. Also, eating yogurt will help. I seem to get a yeast infection after taking anti-biotics. Hope this info helps!

That sounds like it could be a vaginal yeast infection. But it could be an STD. Your doctor will examine your vagina and take a sample of the discharge to test it. You will most likely be given an antibiotic(either to be taken orally or vaginally).

Sounds like a yeast infection to me. You should see a doc as soon as possible. Mean while get some over the conter meds to help out with the itching. Umm, eat yogurt to help put the natural flora back into your system.

if you use the over the counter cure
it may disguise
what your doctor NEEDS to see

soft water nor shaving would result in the pain you are having

best of luck to you and yes you could have MORE than just a yeast infection
that's WHY you need to see the doc

Most likely you have a bad yeast infection, not related to shaving.Your MD will take a sample and provide some medicine Like Flagyl its a anti -fungal drug that will resolve the problem. You need to speak to him or his staff about "safe sex" practices, you can infect your boyfriend also, and be sure to follow directions for taking the medicine, that's most important.
