I posted this question on respiratory diseases but didn't get any response so I will try on here....My grandmother is 77 years old and on dialysis. She was just taken to the hospital last night/this morning with pneumonia and this question might not come out the way I mean it, but what are her chances of recovering from it? I love her to death, she's the only grandparent I have left, but I know that pneumonia is serious for anyone, wether you are 12 years old or 80 years old, and I just want to know with her other health condition (dialysis) exactly what may happen. I know she is also having a problem with the graph in her arm that they use to deliever her dialysis medicine as well. Anyone, maybe with experience, able to give me some information on what to expect?

Sore boobs?
my boobs are really sore like the nipple is! the nipple is like purple looking and in the middle of the nipple its white! i have mile cramps like bloating and my period i just had was oct.24-nov3! and my boobs are really fulL! is this my period coming early or pregnancy?(sorry if this is no much info)

OK, last week my little girl started telling me that her "private" itches so I give her a bath and it was a little red but I thought that it might be from running and playing or maybe she wasn't washibg her self very good so when she took a bath I made sure that she cleaned her self really well. Ok. Friday I notice that mine look like her's and it itches. So I thought it could be the laundry detergant but I have been using that same laundry detergant for a while now and we never has any problems. So i bought new laundry detergant today and I have rewashed all of mine and her underwear in this new detergant. So I guess what I am wondering is has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know what could be that problem so that I am fix it? Or do you think that I need to go see a doctor?

I just started taking birth control the sunday after i stopped my period like i was suppose to and i missed like 3 pills but i am on the 4th week of the pills and i should have started my period a day ago. what does this mean? please any advice will help

I have been on the Depo shot since July 2005, have no periods, slight weight gain, nipples sore. I go to bathroom often, toss and turn at night. I read what someone sent me and it may be from the depo. Either way, I have been wanting to switch from the shot to the pill. I just took it recently so my window is not open again til Feb. 2007. Has anyone switched from Depo to the pill before? Do you have to wait til your body cleans itself out(a period) a month...then start pill which takes a month to take its effect(use other protection until then). I should have done it sooner, but made the mistake by not switching yet. By the way, I recently found out a have a fairly large ovarian cyst. I think it may be related. I believe when I do make the switch...I'll be better off for it. Thanks for any help someone has to offer!

I'm 13 years old, no, I haven't had sex. My last period was about halfway September, now it's halfway November and I haven't had my period once since September. I've had my period since I was 11...

Is that ok? As in healthy... for me not to have had my period since September?

Since getting my tubes tied in April of this year, I noticed I have bad cramps and that my periods only last 2 days. Does this sound normal, I am only 29 years old. I feel like 2 days is too short, and that I am not cleaning myself out. Any advice?

I took two pregnancy tests. On both of them the control line was dark and the test line was light pink. I would take them as possitives. I wasnt sure though. I was told that since I am only 5 days late that it might be two false possitives. Is that true?? How common are they???

I want to go on birth control, however, I'm very concerned with the weight gain. I'm currently excellent at keeping my calories in check (1400-1800 a day) and running 4-5x a week. If I keep doing this, will I still gain weight from the pill? I know it depends on the person...any of you have personal experiences with this?

I have been on the Depo shot since July 2005. I have no periods, everything seems fine. One thing I noticed about a week ago was that my nipples were sore. My chest is noticeabley bigger. This hasn't happened with any of the other times. I took my last dosage recently, but this was happening before then. Do you think it's just a hormonal inbalance for right now, and then they'll return to normal (smaller). I believe so, just wondering if any other woman has experienced this symptom. Any other useful info on Depo would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

We have been trying to get pregnant for a while now. This month I am 5 days late for my period. I have sore breasts, dry skin, and beginning to get nausiated. Sooooo, I took two pregnancy tests and they both came out possitive, I think. The control line was dark red and the possitve line was a light pink on both of the tests. Is it normal to get a possitive line that is light???? So, should I take it to heart and start telling my family or should I just look at it as two mess up tests????

Okie well i was in class today and i stood up and i just collapsed now my groin and hip are all messed up i cant walk very well. I play volleyball all the time every single day and i have a huge tourni this weekend i unno wat to do.

Alrit, this is kinda sad! But, I have a friend who sweats A LOT! I mean when she lifts her arm, her armpits all wet! I try to give her some hints, you know, like to keep her arm down! I have yet to start my period and i am 3 days late. But, i still get cramps, my face is broken out horribly, and i am extremly bloated yet. I have been under a lot of stress and also my doctor changed a dosage of a medication i am on. What do you think would cause me not to have started my period yet? This is really stressing me out even more. Please help me!!

Well lately I've been eating like really good full meals and I'll be very very full when I'm done eating. About a half an hour later I'll feel like I"m hungry again. I dont' really have a fast metabolism, and I was not like this a month ago.. what is wrong with me??

I am 18, virgin...and was pleasuring myself, and i did it a second time, and it hurts now. There is a large swollen lump on only the left part of the inside. This is only on the left side....it happend before on the left side too...same spot, same pain... This happend before but why?? I have no other problems down there whatso ever,. but the pain goes away within 2 days....untill i do it again...(happens 40% of the time).... so someone please tell me what's wrong.
