I took two pregnancy tests. On both of them the control line was dark and the test line was light pink. I would take them as possitives. I wasnt sure though. I was told that since I am only 5 days late that it might be two false possitives. Is that true?? How common are they???

A fasle negative is more common. But 2 false positives? Congratulations, you are going to be a mom.

False positives are extremely rare. Two false positives are even more rare. You are pregnant. I won't congratuate you though because if your testing when your only 5 days late, you sound more paranoid than hoping. Since you have tested positive for pregnancy, you need to get to a doctor or a planned parenthood clinic. Do NOT go to an emergancy crisis pregnancy centre. The people that work at these sorts of places are misguided or simply hate women. Go to a reputable clinic. You have three options, keeping the child, adoption and abortion. Each of these options are equally valid choices to make. Educate yourself and good luck.

It is not very common for false positive tests. If I was you I would go to the doctor and get checked out.

2 false posotives in a row? Very , very rare. Once maybe but still that is rare, THe only other thing that would possibly make a preg test detect the HCG hormone is a tumor. My guess is that you are pregnant.

Not very common, can happen. Just go to a doctor, you would need to anyways if you are indeed pregnant...so you can kill two birds with one stone: pregnancy confirmation as well as start your prenatal care :) Oh and then go buy bigger clothes

Go to the doctor's and be tested.. blood work, etc. It's more accurate than some $20 drug store test.

Theyre not at all common. When you get a positive result, and your period comes, that usually means you just had a very early miscarriage
