I recently, had my first Pelvic Exam. And it was complete agony.
I was in severe pain. It was a really sharp pain, and i was in tears for the whole examination.

Mum has told me, that i shouldn't be painful? Is that true?.
Why did it hurt so much?

I have to go back for further tests, to determine the cause.
Am TERRIFIED about it, because it will be agony again.

What do i do? My last results came back normal, luckily.

Please help me. If anyone has any advice please post.

3+ months ago I started with what I thought was pregnancy symptoms. After many neg. urine tests, 4 neg. blood tests, and 3 ultrasounds, it was confirmed that I was indeed not pregnant. However, the Dr’s did not find any abnormalities that would be causing my symptoms. I do not wish to be pregnant, have been on the pill for a year and never miss. I’ve been having periods on the expected dated, although they have been much lighter and shorter then usual. Symptoms are still here, as well as a growing belly. I have an appt. with a specialist in Jan. What gives. What could it be? I’m getting no where with the Dr’s & concerned.

I am 19 years old. I was supposed to start my period yesterday and I didn't. I have always been regular, and had normal periods my whole life. There is a chance I could be pregnant. I took a test yetserday and it was negative. I dont know if I didnt wait long enough before taking it or what. The test says it cant detect pregnancy up to 4 days before a missed period. Since I took it the same day I was supposed to start, maybe I didn't wait long enough. Also, since this morning whenever I go to the restroom(#1 or 2)...my stomach where cramps would be is very sensative. Its not cramps, just an uncomfortable sensation like I am straining my muscles in my lower stomach. Could that be a sign of pregnancy?

Hi, I am from India. As most of you know marriages happen here as arranged by parents. My family has seen a girl for me. As per the info from the girl's family, the girl had a mild epilepsy followed by a typhoid fever two and a half years back. Neuro Doctors adviced her to take medicines for three years continuesly. So, she takes Acsatal and Tegretol regulerly. I want to ask you, whether the married life, sexual life of mine (of course of hers too) will be normal. I also would like to know whether any pregnancy risks there? Please answer.... Any other problems anticipated in future?

Hello, I've been off the pill now for three months after taking them for nine years. We've all heard that women have a slightly increased incidence of breast cancer when they use BC pills. But I was surprised to read that, although the risk starts to decline after you stop using them, it takes 10 years! to get them fully out of your system! Are there any long term users out there like me? I so, what are you're comments/experiences??

This is one of my biggest fears... that what if the cord to the tampon breaks for some reason and the tampon stays stuck inside... an dhow do they then take it out?

I have used them before but prefer to use towels for this reason, but I would love to know if anyone ever had a bad experience with them

Why is public urination by men considered more socially acceptable than public urination by women? Why do many men think it's OK for guys to pee outside when they can't find a restroom, but expect women to hold it in?

my mum just diagnosed with thyroid (hyper). I am very worried.

1) How can I be more sensitive towards her?
2) is her being a vegetarian part of the cause of this thyroid?
3) should she take up western medication or chinese medication?
4) is there any good medical medicine that u'll recommend?
5) what kind of food should she avoid?
6) what kind of food she should take?

I will appreciate if any nurse/doctor or any experience reader will actually advise this unfilial daughter of hers.

thanks a million
