often when you are this young, your cycle will be somewhat erratic. Have you changed your diet or lifestyle lately? Increased excersize? Dieting? Have you had a cold or been ill in any way?
The proper way to record your cycle is to mark the 1st day your period starts on a calendar... keep track of it for several months (looks like you are doing that) and you should see a pattern of 26 - 30 days between the starts of your periods.
If you are in any way concerned, you should discuss this with your mother or a trusted female adult. Have your mother make an appoitment at the doctor's if you and she think it is important.
Likely it is not very serious.

Nothing is wrong with you. Some women or girls in your case start off with an irregular period for the first 3-5 years. Things will fix them selves as you get older. Not all women have a period once a month like clockwork. Some will have a period every other month or every 3-4 months or even once a year. It doesn't mean there is something wrong with them it just means that their body functions differently. I am one of those people my self and I am not abnormal. I'm going on 24 and I have never had a regular period that was once a month consecutively for more than a year. All through High school I had a period every 3 months and recently I've noticed that I've been having one about once a year give or take a month. I've been to the doctor numerous times for what I thought was a problem but they told me the same thing I've told you. So hang in there girl...you're OKAY!

Sweety this is very normal for a 13 year old girl to go through.
Diet and exercise can contribute you not having periods if you are under weight or over weight.
But I can reasure you what you are going through is normal for a girl of your age.
Even if arent sexualy active and maybe you might be then you can always by home pregancy kits from coles for about $15.00 to $19.00...
We dont always give out our inner most private secrets like this...
Mum of 4.
Good luck sweety..
Oh just incase ask you mum if you can get your iron checked which is a simple blood test to make sure you have enough iron as this can cause delays in periods.
But I think with in 12mths you will become regular as some girls your age can take up to 2 years to regulate..
Just think you are lucky at the moment because once they start properly then there a real pain...

I'm 18 years old and I'm no health professional. What I can tell you is that when I was your age I use to read a lot about periods. I know that the first coulpe of years your period can be irregular. As you get older, your mentrual cycle becomes more regular.
If you think this is more serious talk you an adult or a doctor so you can stop worrying and can answers your questions.
Take care

i am the same age and that has happened to me. i have had my period since i was 11 also. Don't worry about it you should be fine. Just wear a panty liner around the time that you usually get it because it might come on kind of heavy when you do get it. If you get to worried just go and tell your mom. She will know what to do.

when you start your periods you hormones are not always regular. There is nothing wrong with you, but if you have not got them back by christmas/new years, you may want to see a doctor, they can give you a hormone shot or pills to get them going again.
PS, bravo on not having sex! More girls should be like you!

I don't think there is anything wrong with you. If you're athletic, changing your diet or have recently been sick, I don't see any reason to be worried. Tell your mom though and if you skip it again, consult a doctor. I'd rather you be safe than sorry and I'm sure you would too!
