I would say no, but that's just me = ) No one can tell you that except your doctor for sure, but if you have any doubts you should get this checked out. Like I said, no one on here can tell you for sure, but from what you said in the question it sounds like maybe the beggining of an eating disorder to me. I can't tell you anything because I have no training whatsoever, but wanting people's opinions on your wieght, thinking that people feel sorry for you because of your weight, what sounds like distorted body image, all lean towards an eating disorder.

Using http://diet.ivillage.com/healthcalc I have found that your body mass (height to weight ratio) is 17.35, which is dangerously low, and the target weight for your height is 136-150 lbs., so according to my calcs. you are underweight, not overweight! If you are still having doubts, or thoughts about being overweight I would go to the doctor and get checked out.

i'm around your height and was once your weight. remember that muscle weighs so plenty extra effective than fat does. So "looking skinny" won't comprise the dimensions occurring, and jointly as you will certainly drop some weight on your veg nutrition plan, it's going to make you fatter in the long-term in view that being starved so badly, you will have not have been given any potential to artwork out. consequently, you will lose somewhat some muscle jointly as your physique hoards the gasoline it rather isn't any longer getting. the place will it shop it? In fat of direction. once you're eating many times lower back, you will balloon. what's extra useful? turn your physique right into a gasoline-effective gadget. Up your energy, flow to a minimum of 2000 energy. make particular they're healthful, get somewhat some supplements and minerals. Spend a minimum of an hour on the treadmill and/or exercising bicycle and/or walking, on a daily basis. raise weights the different day. you could burn off 1000+ energy in an hour doing this, and your physique gets used to burning somewhat some energy. If it rather is too plenty, harm your habitual into 2 0.5-hour exercising habitual classes, one in the morning and one in the night. After 2 weeks of this habitual, progressively decrease your calorie count style till you're at approximately 1700. you will drop to approximately one hundred thirty five to a hundred and forty pounds on your purpose time, which ought to be extra effective than skinny sufficient for a woman of your height. This weight, no longer in basic terms like the nutrition plan approach, won't come back except you supply up exercising habitual fullyyt.

here's some advice I should have taken a loooong time ago: I use to be 5'3 120b lbs and I thought I was huge!!! I always had the same problem- All the guys would constantly tell me I was wrong and of course- all the girls would think I was fishing for compliments!!! Here's what I would advise... You obviously have a self esteem problem because of one reason or another(mostly because you are a human and everyone thinks thinner is better-THEY ARE WRONG)... First of all you need to realize that # 1 you being 115 lbs-you aren't fat BUT>>>> Because I use to be like you I started stressing out and GAINING WEIGHT!!! STRESS CAUSES WEIGHT GAIN. Another thing you should know is I still contact some of my old friends and they will tell you, they hated being around me because of that exact issue!!! If you don't have confidence in yourself than you are going to have a horrible life and people will get tired of constantly having to boost your esteem up. As a friend you will need a confidence boost every now and then but I had to realize that there is a HUGE difference in a boost and being annoying. If you have good friends, weight shouldn't be an issue. Enjoy Life. I just found out that I have a Thyroid problem and it is nearly impossible to lose weight! I eat right, always busy and I am not the weight I ever thought I would be but I AM SOOO HAPPY WITH MYSELF, And I realized that you will always be miserable and will start hating life if you don't learn now to ONLY PLEASE YOURSELF, Be respectful to others, but know that when other people are what your confidence is based off of, you will always be making someone unhappy/letting someone down/ or not getting the approval you need. And that justs stresses you out more. Believe me, I was you and now I'm 21. I'm not old but I have been on my own since I was 17. It just gets worse until you realize that you and God are all you need!

Well, let's take a look at reality here. We'll make you the 5'8" REALITY WEIGHT star. A more than reasonable guess would put 98% of the women and 92% of the men at that height turning cartwheels over that weight.
Fat is real, but it is also in the mind's self-image. This looks like something you may want to check w/ the doctor. There are also sites on the 'net where you can compare.
And then there is the fantastic wisdom of Dr. Joe Cool
"YOU ROCK".

In a word "no". Wether it's "all muscle" or even "all fat", 115lbs. at 5'8'' can never be considered fat for either sex. You can do a search on the web for a "BMI" calculator that will give you a ballpark idea of your ideal weight. Yahoo Health has one, actually. Just input your sex, weight, height, and waist. Just remember, the BMI scale is just to give you an idea of your "ideal weight". It won't provide body fat percentage and a par score doesn't mean you're actually healthy.

Sounds like you're a little on the skinny side, but not anorexic looking yet. Don't get any skinnier and stop asking other people if you're fat. If YOU think you're fat, see a doctor. It could be a sign of an eating disorder.

NO

5'8", 115 lbs.
Your BMI score is: 17.4

A BMI score of less than 18.5 indicates you are underweight. You may wish to consult with your healthcare professional or nutritionist to discuss whether any health risks are associated with being underweight.

As often as this question is asked compared to the percentage of actual anorexics. I'm beginning to believe you and others are just trying to get attention. if not seek help

no actually your skinny from the measurements provided-seriously though---but if you are having issues concerning your weight talk to a parent/consoler/or friend so it doesn't develop into anorexia or bulimima (eating disorders) i'm not saying you will but just don't get caught up on your weight b/c my friend did and its been really hard ever since and she wans't/isn't even close to being fat-anyways i hope this helped and remember your SKINNY! embrace it.

You are not FAT!!. In fact you probably are a little under weight. You could go to 123 - 127 without any problems at all. This may even help your breasts develop a little.
