I am 18, virgin...and was pleasuring myself, and i did it a second time, and it hurts now. There is a large swollen lump on only the left part of the inside. This is only on the left side....it happend before on the left side too...same spot, same pain... This happend before but why?? I have no other problems down there whatso ever,. but the pain goes away within 2 days....untill i do it again...(happens 40% of the time).... so someone please tell me what's wrong. Go to the doctor. I had a lump before on the right side & it ended up being a cyst (I was able to feel it when I walked, it was bad). My dr gave me some antibiotics and luckily it burst before I had to have surgery on it. It can happen when you are pleasuring yourself because your vagina gets engorged and the pressure can be making it more painful for you. Get it checked out before it gets worse. Don't be embarrased about telling your doctor-they will want to know so they can accurately diagnose you. Good luck.

I have no idea. But it does kinda sound like a cyst. Umm not to get disgusting here. But it also might be if you were using something other then your hand, that you might have broken the skin and it caused a cyst. Many different things. Trust me you do need to go to the doctor and see if they cant give you medication or lance it there in the office. Better then being in pain all the time. And don't forget to tell you doctor what you were doing because that kind of info will help determin what happened.
It's embarrassing I know.

Look this up in Yahoo!.
"Nabothian Cyst".
This is most likely what you're feeling. They are very common and not a health risk. They are not an indication of anything other than a swelling. They generally do not go away on their own. If it's not a big deal to you... just tell your doc the next time you go see her/him and have it removed. Again, don't worry about it if it's not really bothering you.

you need to see a doctor. There should not be any lumps, or pain. It sounds like you have an infection. go to the doctor and get it taken care of!!!!

You have been using your sex toy/finger too vigourously. My wife gets sore on the right hand side of her vagina after sex. it will clear in few days! There is NO infection if you are new to sex/masturbation.
