For example, if someone starts eating healthily and exercising regularly, can it take up to a month or more to start noticing any results? Consider the person has a normal metabolism and has had poor eating/excerise habits for a year or more.

Ok I know this is going to sound really stupid, but I am trying to be serious. I have been seeing my OB/GYN for over a year now, and usually he has been really good in trying to help me out. Lately tho I don't feel that way. I know what is wrong with me and that the only thing that I have found to help would be surgery either an oopherectomy or hysterectomy, but he says he won't do it just yet because of my age. I am happy with just having one kid, and am sick of living my life on pain meds. I have repeatedly told him this. I had to go to my Family dr. the other day for strep throat. He asked why I was on this medication for pain and I told him. He asked me point blank "Why haven't you had a hysterectomy yet??" I wish I could just see this dr. over again since it sounds like he wants to help, but because I am dealing with military dr. it is hard to get good treatment. What would be a polite way of asking him to refer me to someone that will help if he isn't going to?? Sorry I rambled!!

I was wondering if someone could explain how "the pill" works. I though the pill prevents a woman's cycle so she would not have a period. But if she does have a period while on the pill does that mean she can still get pregnant?

Is it when she gets her first period? Driver's license? When she's able to stay at home by herself for the first time? Graduates from high school?

I've heard women can feel sexual pleasure, even orgasm, by crossing their legs and I guess somehow rubbing their thighs together. Is this true? Can any of you do this or know someone who can? How exactly do you do it? What does it feel like? When do you do it--do you do so in public? If so has anyone ever noticed you doing it?

Last night on CSI, Chrstine was raped. There was a scene of her scrapping under her finger nails, and then she inserted a tampon. It looked like she removed the tampon right after insertion and put it in a bag for evidence. Is this a way of collecting DNA evidence after a woman is raped?

One of my friends says it can be if you run out of tampons. I never heard of anyone doing this.

I am 26 years old and just recieved my second askis pap smear and the last one they also did a HPV test which came back positive. Should I be worried? I don't know much about HPV, I am researching it now, but I thought this may also be a good way to get some answers and personal testomony. My husband and I are also trying for another baby. My Dr. said it was ok to keep trying, but I wondered if anyone had complications? Please help, I am really scared!!
