I have very heavy periods. I use Always Flexi-Wings, Long Super - Heavy. The are a little like wearing a diaper, but seem to work best for me.

I prefer tampons, but if I need to use a pad I usually get always with wings. I have found that the exact brand (except for the BIG bulky usually generic ones) doesn't really matter. It is that fact that they would have wings. Make me feel more at ease that they won't "slip" off.

Walmart brand :equate super with four channels. The channels help to not over flow. No wings there a pain!!!
