Have you or your partner had a check-up lately.
Nowadays there are four fertility tests that you can take in order to find out the reasons as to why you can't get pregnant. The four fertility tests are; Hormone testing, Ovulation, Chlamydia and gonorrhoea cultures, and Sperm analysis.
Your age & health (scarring of your tubes) can affect getting pregnant as well.

You should be asking why is it so hard for ME to get pregnant... I have two kids, and both times it only took one go, which is a pitty for me, but not to make light of your stress, but stress doesn't help, I've heard so many stories of women who go through hell, then give up and then get pregnant, but the only real advice is for both of you to go to your doctor for tests.

Because life's not fair! I've been trying for two years and have just (this morning!) been referred for IVF.
In my case, the answer is because I have endometriosis which has led to scar tissue and adhesions, not to mention that painful intercourse is one of my syptoms.
Why it's hard for you I don't know. I'd suggest you and your partener go to the docs. and get checked out. If there is a problem there is so much they can do to help. I wish you loads of luck.

I was going to add another humorous answer "are you using the right hole", but you might be serious, so sorry. The answer can be numerous, but rather than worry over it, get to your doctor for a thorough check, it may not be you at all but your partner. Good luck a child is always precious.

hi there. if youre having trouble conceiving, then im sorry to hear that, and i hope something works out for you soon.

i would suggest you take a look at www.fertilityfriend.com.
there is free cycle charting software on there, and an online community of thousands of women, most of whom have trouble conceiving for various reasons. you do have to pay to sign up, but its only a few quid. i thoroughly recommend it, its helped me loads.
