Hi, I have a friend who is a mail-order bride. This is a very serious situation. She's been trapped by an abusive husband and she now has her son trapped as well. She's a very dear woman to me, much like a sister. She's scared of being sent back to China. Any help advice would be appreciated!

i came back to college about a month ago and right before that i had lost some weight due to emotional stress but since i've been here i've started eating healthier (and more). i've gained about 7-10 lbs in about a month (is this healthy?) and now i'm a couple days late on my menstrual cycle. did my eating habits lead to this occurance?

My clitoris has been painful for a couple of days now? When I sit or if my pants rub up against it? Do you know what can cause this and should I be calling my doctor or will it go away on its own?

Okay, last night I used Vagistat-1 to help with my yeast infection [sick, i know] and this morning well now all the itching is gone, which is good. but, my inner labia has seemed to swell up 10 times as normal. and, it's really freaking me out. it's one of the sickest things i've ever layed my eyes upon. [and, yes i am exaggerating] but, i need to know what to do...i need HELP quick. and i really don't want to go to the doctor's. eeek.

and also.

for anyone who has already used this before
are you supposed to wash it off at any certain time?

topic: menstruation cycle

i get my period regulary but i notice my body seems to react different than the other days, i loose taste in my tongue, i get breakouts all over my forehead, i sweat on and off, and i get the horrible cramps. i know thats a normal thing to get when you have your period, and i only get this for one or two days, but my question is, as i am in the age of 24, am i still in my hormone development age? is this the cause of it? im meaning to ask, when im 30 or around, will my body be doing all these things? or will they be like this until i hit menopause in my 40's? will i get these darn horrible cramps for good? or am i just passing through this 'hormoneal phase'?

curious to know, thanks!

My sister gets strong urges to run to the restroom. When she is done, only a drop of urine results. She describes the horrible pain as a burning sensation. She has tried rubbing a tomato on her belly as well as drinking lots of cranberry juice, but no results. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and greetings!!

I am kind of wondering about something. I went to have my rectum checked for hemorrhoids and my doctor said she did not find any. However, my anus is swollen. Is it possible that my rectum could have a yeast infection? Can there be an overgrowth of candida in my rectum and anus? Just wondering.

My mother was diagnosed with stage 2 endometrial cancer and has undergone a major surgery on the 27th March 2006. I have been looking up info on survival rate, and all I run across is the 5 year survival rate, which is quite good. But what I am really looking for is some answers in real world terms. Does the 5 year rate mean she is likely to only live 5 years after her surgery? What are her chances of living out a full, natural life? She is only 53 and in good health, except for diabetes. I know no one can tell me how long she will live or if this caner will kill her, but there must be statistics out there on how long these cancer patients typically live. Please help me with answers.

I'm 24 and have been irregular since I started menstrating at 15. But in the past year I have been getting it less and less. Recently I didn't get my period in like 6 months, until a month and a half ago when it did come...but it only last 2 days and was brown.

My mum says it's because I don't eat right and I work overnight, so my body can't function properly. Not sure if this is true or not...Any advice? Should I switch to the day shift?

Only reason why I haven't been to the doctor's is because everytime I go, they tell me the same thing: We need to put you on the pill. But I refuse. I am a smoker aswell.
