No there is no way - see your doctor. It is probably nothing - most lumps are - but it is definately important to get it checked. Don't be panicked by those scaremongers who scream to see your doc now. If you tell the receptionist you have a lump you should get sen fairly quickly. I have had lumps on and off since I was 17 (I'm now 42) and have never had a serious one - but I get every one checked as soon as I find it. Good luck - let us know what happens

No, there is no way to figure this out yourself, unless you happen to have a home mammography center. You need to have an exam, and if anything is found, a mammogram or ultrasound, depending on your age. If they find anything, your next step is a biopsy. Do not let this go, I have seen far too many women neglect their health for fear of the consequences. Make an appointment today.

No, there isn't. You really need to have it checked out. Could be a cyst, which may be aspirated (needle used to remove the fluid). Are you having your period? A lot of women become cystic when they are menstruating. If you are, and the lump doesn't go away after your period, you have to get it checked by the doctor.

I had that problem and the first thing my doctor asked me was there any discharge coming out from the nipple. I was okay, I guess some lumps are normal. But I would get it checked out to be on the safe side or you will be paranoid about it.

Do not massage it.Keep a close watch. Take Thuja 1 cm one dose and watch for 4 weeks. It is homeopathic. If it subsides thank your stars and take another dose. But it increases in diameter and gives you discomfort, go the doctor for a mammogram. You can go the doctor right away.

Why would you even want to risk it? Go to the doctor. Early detection is the key, and if it isn't cancer, you'll have peace of mind.
