I was 13 and it happened at school. I was so embarrassed I wanted to die!!!

Firstly..... Why are guys even bothering to answer this question... Do you really think you are funny?
Secondly - at age 12, thankfully in the morning before going to school. But a friend of mine didnt get hers till she was 16. On the other side of the scale my friends daughter got hers at 10.

Five days ago.But my first periods started when i was 12.I had gone for a wedding party,i got so tired and went to sleep.When i woke up my night dress and my bedding sheets were soaked.Woke up went to my sisters bedroom and asked for some little advise.

I was a little bloomer and didn't get it till 5 days before my 14th birthday, NOW a days girls are developing at 9-11 and getting periods earlier. not in my generation...

I got my first one 2 mos before I was 15. Right before thanksgiving. Luckily I was at home and my mom got this "sampler" box when I was in 5th grade. I blew the dust off of it. Got out what I needed and went on about my business. I had a lot to live up to in my family. My sister freaked out so bad she threw her undies at my mom..lol so I had heard about that for about 8 yrs then I got mine
