No, it isn't too soon. It is a common myth that breastfeeding women can not menstrate or get pregnant, this is very wrong. You can have a cycle within a month after delivery and can get pregnant during that first cycle. How many siblings have been 11 mos. apart? A lot. If you're still concerned you should contact your OB/GYN.

It's because of the supplemental feedings. Your body hasn't got enough demand on it to produce enough milk to suppress your cycles anymore. If you're concerned about your own milk amount, use a pump to try to increase your milk supply, and feed that to the baby, instead of formula. Also, nurse more frequently, most babies will need to nurse way more often than you'd need to give a bottle, but this is normal, it doesn't mean your milk supply is low.
I had a cycle one month after my son was born, because I couldn't get him to latch on, and just using a pump to extract my milk didn't work as well as having the baby nurse. After he got the hang of latching on, I stopped pumping and bottles completely, and didn't have another cycle until I started him on solid foods.

It all depends on how your body is and how much your baby was using. It is very normal for a period to start as soon as 4- 6 weeks on some people. As soon as your body starts to change in any way other things staring kinding back in

Not at all, especially if you've started supplementing. It's the constant nipple stimulation that helps to keep your period at bay. Even pumping lessens the stimulation. 8 wks can be normalfor you cause everyone's different

Nope! Not every woman is lucky enough to stop periods while breastfeeding.

Everyone is different... I wouldn't worry too much! If your body wasn't ready to produce another child, you wouldn't be having your period yet, right?
This link said 8 weeks is normal.
