Hi! It is normal to have muscles pulling because of a bigger belly. But it is always wise to have the cramps checked because that is not normal to have cramps any time during pregnancy except for in when you go into labor. I would visit a doctor. Deb

Yes I have 4 children and now pregnant with my 5th and I had cramps that felt like the ones I had before my period with all of my kids in the begining.
They say its ligaments and things streching.

It differs from every woman, mine were similar to cramps, but not as painful, just like a nagging pain...if its severe u might want to contact your doctor.

How "early" is your "early stage of pregnancy"?

Cramps very "early" could mean Miscarriage or one impending...

Cramps are a form/type of pain and "pain" by definition is symptomatic of 'dis'ease and/or problem...see your friendly
local OBY-GYN Doc...
