Sounds crazy to me. Plus its not going to absorb as a tampon would. You are going to end up with a mess and possibly an infection. There's only one hole on the body thats appropriate for inserting food and thats your mouth....

I am answering this question using common sense. Certainly not, bread cannnot replace a tampon even for emergency use. Bread has very low liquid absorption capacity and it somehow melts or crumbles when it becomes wet. Besides, for hygenic reasons, just use the right stuff on sensitive parts of your body to avoid infection (i.e. yeast infection).

i think that could possibly be one of the most disguisting things i ever heard!
No. 1 the bread wont stay firm, it'll be all soggy up inside you! how you gona get it back out if it breaks off in bits.
have you evert heard of a thing called toxic shock syndrome, this is possible. also there is yeast in bread so if you dont want a dose of thrush i wouldnt advise this.
now to answer your question, Im sure it could substitute for a tampon, but couldnt anything if this is the case?
i.e. a sock, a piece of kitchen towel,
of course the'll work but you really goin to be that desperate to puit one of these up you.

A paper towel could be used - but why? Using bread is totally disgusting and could invite a vaginal infection. How about using tampons/pads?

Um no....First of all the bread would become soggy and break up. Secondly you would probably introduce yeast into your body, and thirdly..I mean honestly...Is this even a real question?

what?! is I would not listen to that friend, sounds like they have a few pieces of bread missing from their loaf to start with, that can cause all sorts of problems not including the fact that it is gross.

Not unless you want to get a "yeast" infection! LOL! But seriously, NO! Don't even try that.
