I have problem staying awake for the first class in the morning, between 8:30AM - 10:00AM. After that, I feel absolutely awake to do anything. I always feel sleepy in the morning before 10:00 AM.

I have a very healthy lifestyle. I workout every weekday for 2 hours, aerobatics and weight; I eat lots of fruit and vegetable and some meat daily. Normally, I go to bed around 11:00 PM and have to wake up around 7:00 AM. That's about 8 hours of sleep everyday, since I'm in my early 20s, that should be enough. Sometimes I try to sleep even earlier yet still feel sleepy in the morning. What exactly is wrong? Or is this normal? My friends told me that I'm the night kind of people who could stay up late at night easily yet just can't wake up early no matter how long I have slept.

Any ideas? I want to wake up early and not feel sleepy yet I don't see anything wrong with my current lifestyle. How could I improve it?

I am 21 years old and have been suffering with chronic migraines since I was 10. What I have noticed in the past 4 years (along with increasing frequency and resistance to medications) my migraines have been causing me to develop memory and speach issues. When I am talking normally often I cannot remember one single word or phrase. For example: Today I woke up with a headache and I asked my roommate to hand me a ________ . . . I couldn't remember the word brush if my life depended on it. This type of memory loss happens extremely frequently to the point where the grades in my college classes are suffering because no matter how or how much I study I will forget nearly all important information. I have also seen myself developing rather dyslexic tendencies in my writing and my speach. These symptoms are ever present but certainly exaccerbated by my migraines (which have been incapasitating). Is this even normal? How can I regain my ability to remember? Please help.

We are doing a study on how chest x-rays, besides other laboratory tests, can be cheated. One person attested that drinking milk before Chest x-rays can cover some lesions. I still don't know how that works. What do you guys do? and details please. Thanks!

I have tendinitis in my right thumb for nearly a year and it's not yet completely healed.

Now I'm having the same pain in my left thumb.

So is it usual to have it in the right as well in the left thumb.

So later on, will my left thumb be as painful as it was for my right one.

Hey.
I've been having a loss of apetite. My stomach hurts, so I know im hungry.. I just don't.. feel hungry. Its just like a stomach ache to me. I've been kinda depressed lately, could that be the cause?

I also woke up two times this week because my stomach hurt.
Today at 5 in the morning I woke up, and I remember my stomach hurting as if I was really hungry.
I went to go get a trail mix bar, and got back in my bed. I didn't really want to eat the bar, and I couldn't open it cause I was too weak.
Is there something wrong with me, or is it just depression?

I have always wanted to become left handed but have never been able to muster up th discipline to practice everyday with my left hand. I am contemplating putting my right hand in a cast for a few weeks in order to force myself to become left handed. Would this work? Are there any better ideas out there?

I'm talking about the body craving nicotine. I heard it was 2 weeks, and after that it's a habit and association problem. I gave up for 6 months once but was lured back because all the interesting people were found hanging out round the back having a puff. Non-smokers are so boring. The only reason I'm contemplating it now is because as a smoker I really suffer when I'm out socially and not allowed to smoke. Going outside in the cold is not the same at all, and I just feel like going home. With the ban looming I'll having to either stay at home or give up and I'm not the kind of smoker who can just have one occasionally. For me it's part and parcel of relaxing with a drink. I don't know if other smokers feel this way, but as a reason for giving up I've never heard it mentioned in any of stop smoking campaigns. I'd like to know what kind of agony I'm in for - nicotine replacement is not the answer for me, I've got to kick the nicotine habit cold turkey.

Does anyone know what I can do with my old glasses lenses, the opticians returned them to me when I had new ones fitted and I presume the only thing to do is throw them away as there is no frame. But if anyone knows of a charity they could go to I would prefer that. I'm based in the Uk but can't find anything on the internet.
