You would find that out by figuring out the half life of the drug. Each drug is different. And, of course, it depends on how much you take in. But, whatever you have taken will still be detectable from strands of your hair for a long long time. You hair grows about an inch a month, so if you measure your hair inch by inch you can tell what you have in you system. (Start at the bottom for the oldest) This is also used to find medical problems not found in regular testing.

The length of time any drug (illicit or prescribed) stays in your system will vary. Primarily, it comes down to the individual ( e.g. height, weight, body fat, age, general health etc.)
There other factors to add to the equation though. How much you have taken, how strong it was and how often youtake that drug.
As a general rule, when being drug tested, Amphetamines will be detectable in your body for around 1-2 days after the last administration.

Assuming you have taken it (or you may just be curious)
well discounting the parts of you liver and kidneys that will never recover, about 48 hours depending on how much. Eat well and drink lots, too much water will de hydrate you more. If you need a pick me up use green tea or ephedra substitutes, please avoid speed and ephedrine in future, it really not good for you!

Anything between 13 and 100 years. it can also come back up again at any point in your life and it can also make you wee smell like boiled eggs.
