Medical journals and doctors have already explained that computers and TV and things like that don't make vision worse, but then how does vision get worse? How are the eyes effected in a way that makes them need glasses? And why do people's eyes sometimes "cure" after they wear glasses?

I don't think it is a stroke as I have had the 'sensation' for a little over a week-wouldn't I have experienced the stroke already, if the case? I do not have high blood pressure but it sure feels like it when I get upset either at work(customers!) or at home (kids!). I bought Low Dose Aspirin with Calcium for Women...I have been taking for the last 3 days...seems to be working OR could be the placebo effect. Any serious advice?

I recently started haveing claf pain in my left leg...I havn't done anything that I can recall that would have caused this.My leg is also falling asleep very easily and quickly.I herd that a random onset of calf pain could mean a blood clot.I am planning to go to the Dr.,but im just curious as to why this is happening....Its usually durring the day...I dont know if there is any connection but for years I have had severe shoulder pain in my left shoulder could this be related? Thanks for you help!

I am convinced that I have to be the most ticklish person on this planet.

Here's the thing, anytime someone touches me (I.E. scratches my back, grabs my arm, etc.) I practically jump from it being so ticklish! It's not that it startles me and it's not that I'm afraid of people touching me or anything like that, it just tickles!

So, I have a few questions:

1. Is it normal to be this ticklish?
2. Is there anything you can do to become less ticklish?
3. Is it more of a "mind of matter" kind of deal?

The reason I ask the 3rd question is because I've got almost a phobia of being tickled. Scratch that--it IS a phobia of being tickled. Like I said, I'm not afraid of being touched. Hugs, high-fives, handshakes--I'm fine with all that. But I am terrified of people tickling my feet or holding me down and tickling me.

So, if you can help me out by answering any (or all) of my 3 questions that'd be great. Thanks a bunch!

Since last Tuesday I have been really sick. Severe coughing, headache, chest pains, runny nose, sore throat, and I had a fever. I went to the doctors Friday and she prescribed me amoxicillin and codal. She said that she was going to be treating me for my ear infection, but my ears aren't hurting as bad as my throat. I have still been coughing like mad. Sometimes to the point where I almost throw up. How am I supposed to get rid of this cough? Will the medicine she gave me help it go away? Is the ear infection causing it?
