About a month ago i went to the hospital because i was complaining of pressure pain in my pelvic area (i.e. the uterus, lower stomach) and they did a CT scan and noticed clear pelvic fluid and decided it was from a cyst that had ruptured. I then went to my gyno on wednesday and he did my pelvic exam and noticed I had blood at the top of my uterus and I actually started my period 3 hours later but he wanted to do an ultrasound on me a week after i started my period to see my ovaries when they r most enlarged to see if im prone to cysts. The period I had was so bad like I had really bad cramping and the period ended today im pretty sure and I still feel like bloated out like pressure is just sitting there in my pelvic area/lower abdomen. i also feel like im having cramping around that area almost like menstrual cramping. Could this mean I may have another cyst?

For instance, if you are a woman with a lower tone or a man with a higher tone, is it possible to permanantly alter the pitch of your speaking voice by speaking in a higher/lower tone consistantly, or are you born with your (post-puberty) vocal pitch predetermined? I've always wondered this.

Huge germ freak when it comes to throwing up and all that lovely stuff. I never eat things unless I wash my hands before and I take a vitamin that has 250 mg of vitamin c. I found out that most vitamins only have 100 so will this help me even more when it comes to me from getting sick?

Ugh...yeah...

Um...is changing glasses every 6 months good or bad? Like, if you change the lenses and frame for your glasses every 6 months, will this improve your vision or will the eyes just get worse? Please help me! Thanks!

I recently switched to wearing contacts after having glasses for ever. I found that I can't wear the contacts very long because I guess I have extremely dry eyes (never noticed the dry eyes before I got the contacts.) I have Acuvue contacts which are supposed to be good for that. I use a wash/rinse/soak that is supposed to help the lenses retain moisture. I "cushion" the lenses with a moisturizing drop before inserting them in my eyes. And I carry the drops with me to use as needed. But, I find I have to use the drops every 5-10 minutes or just be uncomfortable and not see very well.

Any suggestions?

So you're just sitting there, having lunc with friends, and suddenly you'll raise your shoulders, lower your head and a shiver will race down your spine. The temperature is still quite warm, and nothing environmental seems to have triggered it, and yet you get "bad vibes". I've also heard the term "Someone walked over your grave".

What causes this interesting reaction? Is it some evolutionary change that is now redundant?
