As long as you thoroughly rinsed the cutting board after it was washed with the bleach mixture, you should have nothing to worry about, but leaving any kind of chemical disinfectant residue on surfaces that are used for food prep can be unhealthy. As for it causing what you are saying, that is only possible if you mix a bleach and ammonia liquid. THat does cause fumes that can be deadly. But that has nothing to do with peppers.

I can't imagine any kind of reaction between bleach and a any kind of pepper. Certainly nothing like what happens when bleach & ammonia mix.

I assume that the board was rinsed with clean water after being bleeached?

If the board wasn't thoroughly rinsed of the bleach on it, then it can cause poisoning in a person eating food that has come into contact with it.

Such a small dose of bleach will not hurt you. My grandfather brushes his teeth with bleach several times per week, has for as long as my grandmother can remember . It's gotta be disgusting, but he is 82 will all his original shiny teeth!

As long as it was reasonably well cleaned after the bleaching, no. The principal byproduct of bleach is salt.

No, you should scrub it with salt using a half of lemon to scrub.
