sleeping in, or going to bed early

excercising (it realeases endorphins, which make you happy and reduce stress)

eating chocolate

going out to dinner

chilling with friends

write in my journal (this helps a LOT because when i write something down that has been bugging me, i can forget about it)

vacation

going to the beach

making a to do list and getting a lot of things crossed off


volunteering (makes me feel good about myself)

reading a happy chick book, where everyone lives happily ever after

smiling: sometimes you don't feel like it, but pretending and suddenly other people are nice and happy around you, and then it catches and you suddenly realize that you are smiling for real

rocking out to my favorite music, blasting, alone in my bedroom, or bathroom, where no body can see

doing all of my favorite things and avoiding the things that have been bothering me for just a day. or getting all the things that have been bothering me out of the way.

My relaxation is researching things of interest to me (reading). The strange thing is to accomplish this with a full time job and 6 kids I end up going to a fast food restaurant (between the lunch and dinner rush) to get away from the rest. They are used to it, it is near a book store.
