I had another knee surgery last Thursday morning. When I removed the bandages, I found that the medical folks had covered my leg with betadine. While this in and of itself wasn't a big surprise, the amount of betadine was a surprise. They covered my leg with this stuff from my hip to the ends of my toes. Of course by the time I had removed the bandages 48 hours later it had dried. Although I have been scrubbing with soap and water, my leg is still a funny yellowish orange color. Does anyone know of any easy way to remove betadine?

My daughter has ADHD and we have tried different medications, but can't seem to find the right one or combination for her. She has been on Adderall (5 months), then Foculin(next 3 months), Strattera and Ritalin(next yr. and a half), and presently on Concerta(these past few months). Her attitude is very bossy, she backtalks constantly and yells. She's also very emotional! This all seems as a typical 9 yr. old, but a lot of times it is taken to the extremes of behavior. Please help! I need to see what other options there are to consider to discuss with her doctor at her next appt. Thanks!

I heard that it can change your chemical makeup if you do it too much because of the chemicals and neurological impulses that are triggered when masterbating. I guess it can screw you up pretty bad and cause hair loss and bad vision and a few other things. Is this really true. Share what you know. thanks

Why is it allright for people to put their cats and dogs to sleep when they are suffering a long illness, but if we do it to a person it is considered murder. Is human life more valuable because we have a well developed brain?

Is there anything other than blowing my nose in the morning that I can do to reduce the number of boogers my nose produces? I am always self-concious, maybe even to the point of an irrational fear, that I have a booger in my nose. I genuinely feel that I have more than an average number of boogers.

I have a huge bump in my nose and I really dislike it. I know if I got it taken care of I would have more confidence and feel much better about myself. But, I don't want to have to go through the pain of going under the knife. I have been told that they have doctors who will just break the nose and reset it so the bump goes away is this true? Has anyone ever had this done or know of someone who has? Or can anyone share there experiences of rhinoplasty? Also, I think my insurance might cover a good portion of the surgery if not the whole thing because due to the bump in my nose and my nose being so big I have sinus problems and am unable to breathe properly. My nose is always so stuff and I don't breathe clearly.

Can a doctor removed your eyeball to inspect the back of it then put it back in? I've heard that it is possible, but I have also heard that to do this the eyeball would have to be permanently removed.
