sometimes that just happens. I doubt you have the stomach virus unless you are still sick.

I've done that before. Something may have just not settled right in your stomach.

Could be the flu that is going around. My granddaughter spent the night here last night and started vomiting at 2 a.m. also. She's feeling better now. I hope you are too. In the meantime, drink fluids, but just frequent sips..don't overload your tummy for a while. Stick with clear liquids for most of today, progress to light fare such as chicken noodle soup. If you keep that down, gradually go back to your normal diet but avoid greasy or spicy foods for a couple of days.
If you are still vomiting, continue to sip at fluids, preferably water, juices, gatorade. Avoid caffeine. If you are still vomiting later tonight, you should seek medical help to avoid dehydration.

like other people said it could be the stomach bug going around but if you just threw up once I think it is from over-eating or laying down too soon after eating. That has happened to me, after your body gets rid of the irritate it feels fine.

You may have had a virus-yesterday i had to go to the hospital because i was getting dehydrated from being sick and losing fluids. I came back home, I am still not felling well. I hope you feel better soon. Lots of people are sick now.

How bad was the headache? People often throw up if experiencing a migraine. You should see your doc if it happens again in the next couple of months.
