is your thyroid being treated?? if so,,,, that should solve the physical problems of it, if you are on the right dose/corrective treatment,,,, as far as medicaid, that depends on your state,, and other circumstances,,, for most adults in most states, you do not qualify for medicaid unless you have minor children in the home or are determined disabled by social security/ssi

mainly depends on where u live but most likely
Medicaid is a state administered program and each state sets its own guidelines regarding eligibility and services. Read more about your state Medicaid program. (See Related Links inside CMS at the bottom of the page.)
Many groups of people are covered by Medicaid. Even within these groups, though, certain requirements must be met. These may include your age, whether you are pregnant, disabled, blind, or aged; your income and resources (like bank accounts, real property, or other items that can be sold for cash); and whether you are a U.S. citizen or a lawfully admitted immigrant. The rules for counting your income and resources vary from state to state and from group to group. There are special rules for those who live in nursing homes and for disabled children living at home.

Medicaid is based on your income. Not necessarily your condition. Go to your states department of health and fill out an application.

It depends on your income, I believe. You need to find a Medicaid web site. OK, here I found it:

This is a natural program that you can try to cure your acid reflux http://hypothyroidism.toptips.org
Acid reflux disease, also known as gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD), occurs due to the coexistence of several medical and lifestyle conditions. Physiological factors that trigger GERD include lower esophageal sphincter (LES) hypotonia (the gradual weakening of the LES), along with retrograde flow of stomach contents into the esophagus, and the level of sensitivity of the esophageal mucus to the reflux content.

If you can't work because of it I'd say, yes. In California you might even qualify for medical Marijuana.

you will need to go through the process, exams and letters from
doctors saying you are disabled........this is a complicated
and frustrating process but it's worth it if they accept you...........alot depends on your income.
