Hi everyone! For the last 2 weeks I've been extremely sick with a sinus infection and I've been getting little to no sleep. I don't end up falling asleep until 3 or 4 am, then I'm up again at 5 to do my nebulizer (I have severe asthma which only gets worse when I'm sick), which makes me jittery, so I can't get back asleep until 7, and then I'm up for the day at 9 or 10. I've been so tired that I can't even explain it. I mean sometimes when I wake up with trouble breathing in the middle of the night, before I can even get up to do my nebulizer, I fall back asleep, only to be awakened gasping for air. And I know the solution seems to just be "GO TO SLEEP before 3 am!" but it's impossible when I can't breathe -- what happens is as I start to doze off I get startled and wake up.

My problem is that all day and night I'm soooooooo tired, and I feel out of it, dizzy, like I'm going to pass out, "fuzzy," and have "abnormal" thinking on a whole. Is this normal for a lack of sleep?

Ok, all us girls know when we go to use the restroom and we are peeing, sometimes we accidently fart alittle and you can't stop it from happening. Does this happen to guys when they are standing at the urinal? I'm not talking about doing it on purpose.

If an ambulance is called in another county because of personal preference, can they refuse to respond because a closer ambulance is available? I was under the impression that if an ambulance is called they must respond if available. What is the protocol?

I can't seem to do it like most people, because I go, then I need to go 30, 1 hour, or sometimes 3 hours later. This is a problem, because I don't like to miss out on whatever is happening in class.

anything I can do for him? He got off work at 3, iced his face on and off for 2 hours and finally came to bed at 5:20. He will be sleeping until 12 or 1, depending how he sleeps. When he gets up is there any sort of homeopathic remedies or anything I can give him? His lip is really swollen and black.

We threw out all of our Teflon pots given the concerns around that product. However, it isn't clear to me how Calphalon's non-stick pots and pans are produced...they do not appear to be "Teflon," but they give little information regarding what, precisely, it is. The website says, "The interior surface features a proprietary matrix of four interlocking nonstick layers, each of which contributes to the cookware's long-lasting performance." Does anyone know what these are, and whether they are more or less safe than Teflon?

This was a question that was asked on the radio, some said in their 40's and some said as long as they are healthy and prepared for the risk that they are willing to take, what do you think?

If it did help you, how did it help you? I'm considering the book or going to a hypnotist. The gums, patches, all of that other stuff is not working. I absolutely love smoking. I need something to convince my brain that I don't need it anymore. If you've gone to a hypnotist, did that work for you....and how?

Please help me.

I know the package says "use only as directed", I'm just interested to know if anyone has tried it and if so how well it worked out for them. It would be a lot cheaper than buying desensitizer from an adult novelty store. Serious answers only, please. Thanks.
