Hello Debbie! A very happy new year to you both. Going by what you say, it pretty much looks like a complex partial seizure. It is one kind of a seizure disorder where the abnormal bizarre discharges arise from a localised area of the brain causing a transient impairment of the patient's ability to maintain normal contact with his surroundings. Phenomena like talking/shouting/walking/running etc are also very well known to occur and these are called "automatisms" which are involuntary behaviors that the patient manifests while he/she is having the seizure. These abnormal discharges within the brain may be recorded by surface electrodes placed over the head and the record is called an Electroencephalogram(EEG). I think you need to get your husband evaluated thoroughly again and he probably would merit an EEG with or without MRI brain. I hope I have been helpful. Good luck!

I am an ex nurse and your doctor is a fool, it sounds like a mild fit. His central nervous system is at fault here. Has he been checked by a specialist if not he SHOULD be. Get a second opinion NOW

So he HAS been to the doctor for this? So what did the doctor tell him to do? He should be following the doctor's instructions. If it hasn't gotten better or worse, then he needs to go back to the doctor.
