Do they have a 1hr service for new frames? Mother has ALS, no exam in 4yrs, broke frames, just wants new frames, she refuses the exam(says she doesn't need??what can you do?)

I dont think they have 1 hr. When I got my glasses made I had to wait a week for them to be made.

I am so sorry to hear about your mother, I wish you both the best. I have a dear friend whose father has ALS.
I think your best bet is to go see (or call) an optometrist and explain the situation. Chances are they are going to need to see the frame to try and look them up to see if they are still manufactured. There is also a possibility of them being able to cut the lenses to fit into a new frame. Ask about your options. Good luck

Don't think they have 1 hr service. Try Doctors Value Vision if you have one in your area. You should be able to get new frames without an exam. All they will do is fit the current lens into the new frame.

She will need a current eye presciption to get new frames unless they have a frame that her old lense will fit into. Call them up and ask them and they can tell you what to do.

Depends upon the Walmart I would call ahead to see if they got the one hour sevice at your local Walmart.
