What are your symptoms? Doyou have blurred vision? Pain behind your eyes? Nauseau, vomiting? Does light and noise bother you? If they are frequent you should contact your doctor. I would reccommend that you take Execedrin Migraine as directed on the bottle. If they worsen in intensity or do not get better I reccommend going to the emergency room for an injection. Be sure to contact your doctor. Also,Aleve is a good choice.

Lots of OTC's out there.
For me, Tylenol / acetaminophen works best for tension headaches.
Motrin/Advil/ ibuprofen work best for headaches with muscle involvment such as neck or TMJ pain.
Aspirin is still a good workhorse, that many people forget about.
Don't forget to talk to the pharmacist at the drug store; they're a wealth of information and can easily navigate you thru what's available.

Whatever pain medicine works best for you. Aspirin is good, Tylenol is ok for a headache, ibuprofen is good and so is naproxen. The excedrin headache meds are good as they contain both aspirin and acetominophen with caffeine to help.

I would take aspirin and Tylenol. I am only 9 so--- don't expect it to work!
