Is it a good thing? I think more therapies such as chiropractic should be practised on the NHS. However, I recently spoke to a PHD professor who says that the NHS shouldn't exist at all. What do you think?

We found out my daughter has very large adenoids and will have to have them removed. Can I ease her worry by letting her know that it is an easy procedure?? :-) I hope it is.

I've had a cold for almost two weeks. It first started with a nasty dry cough. It developed into a cough with lots of phlem, nasal congestion. My ears are plugged up and I can't smell a thing?

What do you think of a person who smokes 30+ marlboro light cigarettes a day, and you know they will never quit. Would you like a person any less just because they smoke.

Also would you choose not to date someone because of their smoking?

I have always suffered from heavy constipation and recently discovered that Vitamin C works like a CHARM for me in that department. So I started taking between 5,000 and 8,000 milligrams of Vitamin C (powder form) daily. In the last few weeks however I have been extremely tired for no reason, very pale and came up highly anemic in a recent blood test.

Does anyone know if there could be a connection between the two things?

THANK YOU!

Here's the situation:
* Doctor writes the correct prescription
* Pharmacist is unsure about the dosage and calls doctor's office to verify
* Nurse from doctor's office informs pharmacist that the doctor must have written the wrong dosage and directs the pharmacist to change it.
* Pharmacist crosses out dosage on prescription and gives incorrect dosage.

Is the pharmacist negligent by changing a written prescription? Does a nurse have the authority to change a doctor's written prescription?

Luckily, the wrong dosage was spotted before taking the medication. The dosage dispensed could have been fatal when used as originally prescribed. Other than notifying the doctor's office and the pharmacy, what else can be done?
