I wouldn't mix if I were you...you see nothing might not happen to you now, but down the road? think about it!

Yeah, it's okay. I've done it.
Just don't, obviously, drink until you throw up. (Making yourself sicker = not fun, and throwing up your antibiotics = not good.) And be sure to drink water throughout the night, drink a TON of water afterward, and recover in the morning (eat some healthy food - oranges, oatmeal) and take a vitamin. Then drink more water.
It's really not great on the immune system to drink while it's trying to fight off an infection, but you'll be OK for one night if you rest and treat yourself good afterward.

There is no "real" drug interaction between ethanol & amoxicillin. But with any "mixture" or combo of drugs...use with caution!!!
DRINKING is bad for you anyways...try not to mix it with any type of drugs!
P.S. some Antibiotics (cefoperazone) will definitely make you feel SICK if taken with alcohol. This reaction is known as the a "Disulfram" like reaction. It is kinda what alcoholics get when they take antabuse and drink!

No, unwise to mix alcohol with any medication.

NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!! If you drink while on antibiotics it renders the antibiotics useless.........I don't know the exact chemical reason, but I am telling you the truth.....It won't kill you, but you won't get over your infection and you will have waisted your money on the antibiotics. I am an RN so you can trust my judgment........

no... it can be deadly to mix alcohol with anti-biotics...of course moderation will PROBALY NOT HURT, BUT I WOULD SUGGEST NOT DOING IT.
