Lol...I like the first answer.
There are lots of people who believe that you have to be active in order to get rid of and prevent colds.
I would recommend the following: Drink a ton of water. Hot water, preferably. If you aren't hungry, at least eat a hard fruit or veggie once a day, like an apple or celery (when you are laying in bed for a day or more, your intestines don't move much) to keep the elimination going.
Eating some chicken noodle soup is good, or you can take after me and eat some maruchan ramen noodles in broth with lime juice and a couple drops of tabasco.
If you really feel like you should be doing something, I would check into basic basic yoga....Do the forward bend. You can do this in bed! Sit up, and touch your toes (or go further) and hold it as long as you can...forward bend accomplished.
Yoga involves breathing excercises. Breathe deeply. Breathe in slowly, then breathe out hard. Repeat about 20 times. This is very good.
Child's pose is good too: Lay on your back, and relax every muscle in your body...stay that way for a long time. Nothing to it.
That's about it. Like answerer 1 said: Work on the snoring excercises.

Basically you need to avoid any exercise when you have a cold. The one thing you can do to alleviate the symptoms of a cold is to do head stand for about 30 seconds morning and evening on empty stomach.

I do all the things you're not supposed to. I always eta when I'm sick. You need energy. I do light cardio. It won't cure a cold but exercise boosts your immune system, if you do it regularly. And I drink milk when I have a fever, with Capn Crunch. If it curdles and I puke oh well. Never happens though.
