i am currently in my 4th week of recovery from surgery and i have nasty gas pains. i walk around a bit and i take less pain killers, also i dont drink anything with gas in it and eat light.. but i need to find an alternative way to relieve this problem.

Why not buy an over the counter product like gas-x or phayzyme? You can try Gaviscon which is available over the counter too. For at home try baking soda in water but check the directions on the box for how much baking soda and water to use.

Try some over the counter remedies like Gas-X or better yet, consult your Dr. about a more potent product that he may be able to RX for you.

When I had surgery the only thing that worked was actually over the counter . It is called gas x . works wonders

sometimes a warm soaking bath helps if the dr. permitts it just to relax a bit helps and let the gas fly to get rid of it also their is gas x on the drug store shelf....

if you got off from surgery and having gas problems u really have to tell yr doctor rather than ask us. some might give u good points and some wouldnt. so please consult your doctor before taking our points in consideration.
