Yes you can die from taking to many tylenol. Aspirin would most likely cause severe gastric problems or a GI bleed. Tylenol is very very hard on liver and not execreted very well so you can die from too much Tylenol. Most of the ads you see on TV have you think that Tylenol is very safe and it is when used only as directed but when people abuse it it can be lethal.

Yes, yes you can.

I work with this woman, she had to take leave this year because her brother in law passed away. Why? Because his liver shut down from taking too many tylenol.

He had chronic back pain and took tylenol every day all day exceeding it's max rec dose (8 in 24 hours).

When they found him they didn't know what had happened, he went into a coma and after a week he finally died. Everybody was shocked because he was only 34 years old! The only affliction he had was his back because of his job. He died so quickly.

Ironically he chose tylenol over asperine because of the horrid stomach issues asperine can give you. he killed his liver instead of giving himself a deadly ulser...

YES. And its very painful. Acetomenophin poisoning SUCKS!

too much of anything is bad.. tylenol will not kill you.. but it can cause complications to your liver... that will eventually may kill you..
