My dad has gotten a surgery on his ankle it wasnt local anestethic, he was completely knocked out, he wen tin the morning and bcame back the same day, after coming back he had a problem of breatheing for 1 min, and he started to shiver is this normal

Yes this is normal. Some people react differently under general anesthesia. Alot of people shiver--it a normal response after surgery.

He had general anesthesia during surgery and his breathing was supported. What you saw was his body "shaking" off the medication (Versed or Profanol) they used to knock him out. He was probably intubated which is invasive. Does he have asthma, COPD, etc?

It is not normal, I think u should go to emergency. call 911
