I was discharged from hospital on Sept.1 after suffering a mild heart attack. One of the tests they ran involved a Chemical Stress Test. I had a reaction to it . I have been coughing my head off ever since. I cough so hard I almost get sick. I can only sleep for 2-3 hours at a time and that's only becasue I pass out from exhaustion. I told my doc and he gave me sinus pills. I am cranky, sore , and sleepy please help!!!

Right ear feels slightly blocked.

When i touch inside of my ear - it hurts.

It's also really hot. Could this be the start of an ear infection ?

Within the last week, including today I have felt like I may have had 2 panic attacks, but I am not for sure if that is what it is.See,when I was5my father committed suicide, but a month before he did I had a dream he did and I was @ his funeral. Now I know I didnt like have a vision,it was probubly due to my surroundings&with the things he was doing at the time.It freaked me out none the less. Now,I am 16 years old and I have had these very scary dreams. Both of them are of my mom dying. Now since I was so young when my dad died,I have gotten incredibly attached to my mom. When my dream shows her dying,I immediatly wake up.Its like I am either already hyperventilating or I start to.I also either again am already crying or start to.Usually they dont last very long, but while I am freaking out I am just staring at the ceiling trying to convince myself that I am ok and I end up calling her just to hear her voice to know she is ok. Is this a panic attack or what?

I recently went on a diet for personal reasons but have noticed that my stomach has been making more noise than it did when I really am hungry. Does anyone else experience this. It will growl or make funny sounds even when I'm not hungry.

It just started after I got out of bed this morning. It's not acid reflux, indigestion or simple cramps, and I know it's probably not a hernia because I don't feel a bulge.

It feels more like a muscle pull/strain in my upper left abdomen. The area hurts a bit when I breathe or move. Funny thing is, I didn't do any type of exercise last night.

Is this a simple muscle pull or something else?

I did have six Heinekens before settling in for the night but I doubt that this is related. =)

I'm not worried about the pain - because i know it won't hurt much .

It's the Needle, which really scares me.
And the thought,of it going into a vein in my arm. lol. Very squeamish.

Very grateful for tips on relaxing - and staying calm.

Thankyou.

I'm 41 and have worn contacgs for astigmatism and near-sightedness since the age of 11. About a year ago, I began having difficulty seeing up close with my contacts on. It is getting worse and worse - to the point that I can't enjoy reading a newspaper, book, and have the computer set at 150% zoom. I cannot wear glasses due to some scar tissue behind both ears from previous surgeries.

My question - as I am "only" 41, I fear that the "old-age-can't-see-the-menu" syndrome is just beginning and that if I pay for lasik now, my eyes will continue to change and I'll end up doing it again in a few years. I don't trust what a doctor (who wants money NOW) would answer.

Anyone had this experience?

Thanks!

Usually when I've been sitting at home (as opposed to school) for a long time, I start shivering from the insides, my hands get freezing cold, and my feet turn practically grayish, blackish (I'm Asian, for the record, but not a racist by any means).

My parents hate having the heater run up the bills, but I think it may be a health problem. Perhaps poor circulation, but if it's anything worse, I couldn't go to the doctor for it; no one in my family goes in for regular checkups (my last one was when I was 12, I'm 14 now), and if I told them the real cause for my worry, my parents would probably tell me to quit eating so much junk, though I hardly ever eat any.

Are there any particular foods that'll help? I know exercise helps with overall health, but would it help here? Thoughts? Suggestions?
