I did a lot of research on it because my doctor wanted me to go on it. I didn't think I needed it, so I did a lot of research on it. I found muscle problem are quite common. Just do a search on Lipitor and side effects and you'll be amazed. I'm doing natural measures to help my choleterol levels, which I feel are fine anyway. My total cholesterol is 167 with a LDL of 124. I guess the makers of Lipitor changed their standards to try to get patients with a LDL over 100 on their med. I think it's just a ploy to get most of the population on cholesterol meds.

What I'm doing is eating more cherios, oatmeal, walnuts, almonds, olive oil, and taking supplements with coezyme10, garlic, and E.

Lipitor lowers cholesterol. I have taken it for years without any nerve damage. There is something else going on in your body.
