I like Luden's cough drops unless I have a serious cold. You can gargle with luke warm water with a tablespoon of salt. Aspirin helps a sore throat; it helps reduce pain anywhere in the body. Chloroseptic spray is good.

Gargle with warm water and salt. Throat spray like cepacol works too. Cough drops and lots of liquids will also help as well as an anti-inflamatory like Ibuprofen . If symptoms persist, see a doctor. You may have a bacterial infection. Good luck.

If it is REALLY, painfully sore, gargling salt water will help. But I only do it for a REALLY sore throat because it tastes awful!

I also like lemon-honey tea.

Cough drops, and warm liquids..ie. tea w/honey and lemon, or a hot toddy--

I always push the popsicles when my kids have sore throats, drink plenty of liquids, and see a doc if doesn't go away soon... could be Strep Throat, and that won't go away without meds... Hope u feel better
