Stretches first thing in the morning can help. Also, if you have a tennis ball, roll your foot over it moving it forward and back. That is one stretch. Another stretch is standing on a step with your heels hanging over slightly and trying to push your heels towars the ground. If you are doing this riht, you will feel the pull. Below is a link with some info and stretches.

Another thing that helps is taking a calcium supplement. I had stopped taking one for about 6 months and the heel pain in my left foof returned. I started taking calcium again and within 3 weeks the pain is barely there now.

Also wear good supportive shoes.

I am a nurse and have suffered from plantar pain for a couple of years. The docs just say take anti-inflammatories and analgesics for the pain, but I know this was just masking the symptoms.

Anyway, I got this guide and a couple of days of following it my pain is completely gone. And I know it's really gone cause I'm not on any meds so if there was any pain left I'd know it.

To be honest, there really is no way to heal it. I have this condition as well. I was diagnosed with it when I was in the military about 8 years ago. The best thing you can do is soak your feet in epson salts whenever the pain flares up. Sorry to say, but it's just something that you have to learn to live with.

Try WebMD. I believe the treatment is taking the load off your feet for a while.
