I have an astigmatism, and i have been wearing glasses for it for about 9 years and i am totally sick of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so my question is, do contacts work on astigmatism, i know a lot of contact lense companys are saying they've made contacts that will work for an astigmatism, but do they really, i really need a change, so any advice or personal experiences will be greatly appreciated! =)

do all the air you inhale go directly to your diaphgram or some of it go to your lungs? what if it doesn't,how do you get exchange of gasses inside your lungs/ alveoli? i'm just curious.

Okay so this morning i woke up and i found that my glasses broke so i cant wear them...i hate going around without my glasses i cant see anything. then i find that im almost going deaf i mean my cold almost cleared up but my ears still seem a little clogged up or blocked up and trust me its not ear wax lol i need to put my tv volume really high as well to hear im worried whats wrong?
how can i have both hearing and eye sight problmes?!!?!?! do i hear with my eyes????

I'm 18 and have a patch of hair around my scalp that is completely white. The rest of my hair is normal colored just that particular area is white. It's been that way since I was in elementary school, probably 9-10 years. Anyone know what causes this? Is it some sort of disease or disorder? Is their anything I can do, besides dying it (which I do now) to make it the color of the rest of my hair?

Is it serious that Texas USA is so tight that they do NOT provide the following...
1) Medical care to unemploy/skint in any sense or in any case
2) Emergency medicine to the unemployed/skint in any sense or in any case.

If you was having a cardiac arrest, would they leave you in the car-park if they saw you and just say "Get used to it, pal and manage without treatment DIY style"?

has anyone ever had small air bubbles run inside their head, from the bottom of the back of the neck to the top?
sounds daft i know, but i get it maybe once/twice a month...i can hear them too, they sound like when you open a bottle of pop! fizzing almost!!

I had it drained about a year ago. It went away for a while, but then it came back. I had is sergically removed.. but then it came back. Now it hurts sooooo much! What do I do? I dont want to have sergery again. HHEEELLLLLPPPPP!!!!

I'm 14 and 5'3". it's ok and maybe average(is it?). but still I do have a passion for modeling and really want to get taller because in order to be a model you need to be around 5'7".
So please help me.
oh and I can't join a volleyball or a basketball class because I'm TOO busy.

I mean take a depressed patient who might be embarrassed to tell his/her doctor that he/she is suicidal or even to embarrassed to call the telenurse and tell him/her. Wouldn't it be easier for people who find it difficult to talk to their doctor or a telenurse if they could simply send an email?

I was told there is a federal program that pays all costs involved but, I have been searching all day and just can not find one. By the way, he resides in California, and also owns a small cafe. The expense of the dialysis and other diabetes related expenses even with Medicare is out of his financial ability to continue with the treatments! Please help us.
