i know that it really all depends on genetics. but is there any way i can get taller through nutrition? i.e. what do i need to eat to get taller? im 17 right now and im 5'4". i want to get to about 5'10".

i usually have an upset stomach in the morning. even when i drink water, my stomach is always sensitive to everything I eat

we did some cooking and drank, and i thought it was salmonella or food poisoning causing my side to hurt but i dont have the symptoms of either. could it be something worse?

i don't believe in the death penalty due to the fact that it usually no better than the crime commited. i am also against using animals to do scientific research. i do know that in some cases both of the things i have mentioned are nesscary, but...maybe instead of using animals for lab work, why not use humans sentenced to death row? the animals won't die and the people who were gonna die anyway will die doing something that could help change the world. animals dna is not excatly the same as a humans so using a humans dna might make scientific research more accurate. please leave me honest answers & no bull$#!t.

My son had his tonsils out 2 days ago. He had to go back to the operating room at 3 hours post-op because of bleeding. They cauterized his throat, and we had to stay overnight at the hospital. Now, 2 days out, he won't talk. He won't drink unless I force him (which I am doing), he won't eat, and he doesn't even want to take his pain medication (which is liquid). His throat is covered with the white scar and areas of black from the cautery. The white area even covers the uvula.
From the research I did beforehand, I was assuming he would be able to return to school this week. But with him bleeding initially, I'm scared to death he's going to bleed again when that scab falls off. Do any of you have any experience with this? Any advice to offer a worried mom (who also happens to be an RN)?

Sometimes when I move, such as stand up or stretch, there is a popping or cracking sound similar to when someone cracks their knuckles. It usually dosen't hurt and just happens spontaniously. What causes this exactly and is it a bad thing or can it lead to something bad?

I had a dream that my dad was cleaning the pool. Then all of a sudden a big wasp about the size of a 3 year old came over there to sting my dad. He killed it. Then the wasp colony got mad and came to our house and tryed to break in. They failed. They looked like "man-wasps. They were as big as a full grown man and they had a butt as a wasp with a two foot long stinger. The upper half of the body had red skin and glowing yellow and green eyes adn had long black scragly hair. They looked really mean and scary. What does that mean?

Hi.
I caught a cold a few days ago and just now I am feverish. The inside of my ear canals feel very hot and my forehead is warmer than usual. Its not extremely bad to the point of going to see a doctor but I do want to reduce it. Does anyone know how to reduce a fever??

Hi, well I'm 17 years old, and I have my middle toe a little bit crooked, It isn't too much, but I still feel bad about it, and also I have big feet, I'm a tall girl 5'9'' But I'm very self concious, what if men get turned off by this??!! help, is there a way to fix it.

I don't know if this question is in the right category, but I didn't really know where to put it.

My sister right now is sitting in the living room. She is reading the book "War and Peace" by Leo Tolstoy, listening to the Rolling Stones, and watching Scooby Doo (lol) all at the same time. She is also having a conversation with my mother. How in the hell does she do that? If I went in there right now, she could tell me what is going on in the book, what the Stones are singing, what Scooby and Shaggy are up to and what her and mom are discussing.

I am a single white female with no children living with me...infact I pay child support. I suffer from depression and some undiagnosed hormonal or thyroid disorder (my best guess) and I also have a severe lack of short term memory. These problems often cause me to be late for work and I often forget simple functions such as going to the restroom, or eating, or sometimes I get lost on my way to work! I am only 32 and I know it can't be alzhiemers. I have a job, but very little money to survive on after I pay the child support. My employer does not provide any health benefits...I NEED medical help and don't know what to do or where to look. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

I've had a cough for a couple weeks - not a bad cough - and there's phlem in my throat and at night my throat is really, really sore and in the day time it just feels really dry and drinking lots of water doesn't seem to help.... What should I take to make it not feel so dry? I've been drinking lots of tea... taking multi vitamins... Nyquil once in a while....
